About us

The Monte Marina Apartments  have been under German management since 1986.  The Duffner family, affectionally called  the Swabian Canarios by their many regular clients, first completely renovated the property, then they extended it in 1992 and added a seawater pool with whirlpool .  

In 1999 the newly built Suite Hotel Marina Playa increased the facilities on offer with the addition of a further seawater pool, a garden chess set and a restaurant with a large terrace and cafe, affording breathtaking views of the sea. The direct access to the beach was rebuilt in 2005. The latest addition is the fitness centre with sauna, massage and exercise apparatus, and the new Pool-bar with daily fresh cakes and snacks or refreshments   within the grounds of Marina Playa

Since 2005 the Monte Marina Apartments and their pool are reserved for naturists.

Both properties are managed by Mr and Mrs Duffner. Their son Jochen is a trained chef and competently manages the restaurant whilst their daughter Susanne accommodates the guests at Reception at all times.
