Fuerteventura

Holidays on Fuerteventura with the unmistakable charm of the

Canarian Islands scenery

StrandläuferFuerteventura is the easternmost and second largest of the Canarian Islands, less than 100 kms from the African coast. It is of approx. 100 kms long and max 30 kms wide. An international airport serves the tourists. Several airlines such as First Choice, Monarch Scheduled and Thomas Cook fly direct from the U.K. to Fuerteventura’s international airport in about four hours. The Canaries have some of the best climate in the world. The dry north-easterly trade winds assure constant temperatures with exceptionally low humidity. As there are no industrial exhaust fumes on the island of Fuerteventura, it is ideal for asthmatics/allergists, such as sufferers from hey fever or skin diseases, e.g. neurodermitis.

The relatively short flying time to the Canaries makes them a good alternative to destinations further afield.

In the Barranco de Esquinzo on the Playa de Jandia, you can access one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches (approx. 20 kms long, with golden, fine sand) via the hotel’s private path to enjoy swimming, a jog along the beach before breakfast or to set out for your day’s hike. Many regular clients particularly value that they can walk, swim or relax on the extensive beach in the nude. On returning, one can relax in the comfortable, spacious and well-appointed apartments and suites.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Jandia and Morro Jable the Urbanisación Esquinzo offers a choice of 3 restaurants, a supermarket, a boutique, a chemists’ and a frequent public bus service to Morro Jable and Jandia.
